A summer walk-a-thon was held to raise funds for ErinoakKids, Ontario’s largest children’s treatment centre for children with disabilities and developmental needs. The event brought together over 30 employees and raised over $4,000 through donations and matching contributions.

Greyabbey, UK

The Greyabbey division sponsored a local school’s netball team, Victoria Primary School in Ballyhalbert, providing uniforms and equipment to support student participation in sports and team activities. Mielec, Poland.

To encourage academic success, the Mielec team funded a tablet prize for the top student at the Technical School Complex in Mielec. The initiative rewarded hard work and supported digital access to learning tools.

New York, USA

Employees donated school supplies to the Flower Orphanage in Wading River, providing children with resources to start the academic year equipped with essential learning materials. Tumkur, India.

The Tumkur team extended its long-standing relationship with the Spandana School for children with complex needs by hosting an outreach event that welcomed students to the facility. Employees generously donated supplies and their time to facilitate student learning and development in a supportive environment. The event’s theme was “Dream Big, Fly High, We Power Your Wings.”

Career Development and Mentorship

Glendale, USA

At the St. Vincent De Paul Shelter, employees volunteered to provide homework help to children in transitional housing. Volunteers provided academic support and encouragement to students during a challenging time.

Haley, Canada

Haley employees opened their doors to local high school students for a hands-on welding workshop. The initiative gave students exposure to skilled trades and introduced them to potential career paths in manufacturing and engineering.

Provence, France

In partnership with HR, the Provence division created 14 internship positions for local youth. These internships provided practical work experience across departments and offered students exposure to different career paths and professional skills.

Mielec, Poland

In another initiative, the team hosted a fire safety education event for employees’ children on Children’s Day. The day’s events included learning important life skills from fire fighters.

New York, USA

Employees supported internship programs for local high school and college students from Vaughn College. These internships offer students an opportunity to gain experience in aerospace and related industries.

Through the Teacher Ambassador Program, local educators were welcomed into Magellan’s facilities to explore operations, workforce skills, and career opportunities in aerospace. By connecting directly with industry, teachers gained practical perspectives that they could share with their students, helping to link classroom learning with real-world applications.
